You will learn a basic grammar rule in each lesson and see clear examples. After that, you will write your own sentences or a short paragraph using the new rule and vocabulary. When you finish, you will send your writing to the AI to get correction, feedback, and a score in English.

Grammar Focus: Verb “to be” (am / is / are)

We use the verb “to be” to talk about who we are or how we feel.

“to be” has three forms:

  • I → am
  • He / She / It → is
  • You / We / They → are

Examples:

  1. I am a student.

  2. She is my sister.

  3. They are happy.

Important Rules:

After am / is / are, write a noun or an adjective.

  1. I am 12 years old.

  2. He is kind.

  • Do not use another verb after am / is / are in these simple sentences.

Examples:

  1. My name is Ali.

  2. I am 11 years old.

  3. I am happy.

  4. My mother is kind.
