Lesson 3: A New Student

Today is my first day at a new school.

There are many students in the classroom. There is a big board in front of us and there are twenty desks.

I am a little nervous, but I am also excited.

Next to me, there is a girl with a blue bag. Her name is Emma. She is very friendly.

There is a teacher near the door. His name is Mr. Brown. He is tall and kind. He says, “Welcome to our class.”

There are books on the desks and there is a clock on the wall.

I think this school is going to be great.
