My name is Lina. I have a small family.

My father is a doctor and my mother is a teacher.

I have one brother and one sister.

My brother is 10 years old. He is funny.

My sister is 8 years old. She is smart.

We live in a big house.

My family is very important to me.

Grammar: Possessive Adjectives (my, your, his, her)

We use possessive adjectives to show ownership.

Forms:

  • I → my
  • You → your
  • He → his
  • She → her
  • It → its
  • We → our
  • They → their

Examples:

  1. This is my family.
  2. He is my brother.
  3. She is her sister.
  4. That is his book.

Possessive adjectives come before a noun:

  • my father
  • her house
  • their school

We do NOT say:

❌ This is father my.

✔ This is my father.
